Which Shed Plans Package is Best for You?

Both packages offer a wide range of plans for sheds and other woodworking projects, so how do you choose? Let’s look at what these packages offer so that you can make your own decision.

My Shed Plans Elite is a collection of 12,000 shed and woodworking plans compiled by woodworking expert Ryan Henderson.  The package also features additional bonus materials, including comprehensive how-to woodworking guides and an eleven-chapter woodworking tips and tricks book.  Read Full Review Here

Woodworking4Home, developed by experienced professional woodworker John Metz, is a downloadable product which includes 14,000 unique woodworking plans.  It can also be purchased as a DVD for those who are not able to or do not wish to download a huge quantity of files onto their computer.  Read Full Review Here.

For the comparison I would say that it largely depends on your needs. If you specifically want to build a shed then My Shed Plans offers more shed-specific plans and how-to information. If you are interested in building a shed but also want to delve in to woodworking in general, the plans in Woodworking4Home are laid out a little better. Woodworking4Home offers a wider variety of plans and while My Shed Plans also includes a wide variety of plans, it focuses more on sheds.

In my opinion both packages are well worth the investment. My Shed Plans is slightly cheaper at the current price of $37, but with Woodworking4Home on sale at only $49, it is an incredible value too. Read my full reviews and look at the product websites. If you know your needs it shouldn’t be hard to choose!
